This week, I welcome Jim Gast founder of SpliceNet, to discuss how to create uncontested market space By targeting a niche industry.


SpliceNet is an IT consulting company with a legal vertical niche.

One of their primary focuses is on serving law firms.

As Jim discusses on the show, he and his team learned over time that it wasn’t good enough to be the best, they needed to be the ONLY.

In order to corner the legal niche, they made strong relationships with local lawyer bar, paralegal and legal administrator associations and engaged the community not by selling but through education.

This has been the key to their success.
